This Somatic Movement Course is designed to help you resolve chronic muscle pain allowing you to restore balance to the body and move with ease again.

First, we help you understand what causes long term chronic pain and also to identify your own personal responses that contribute to stress and muscle tension that limits movement.

Then you will learn a series of gentle, mindful movement practices, based on the work of Thomas Hanna PhD, that puts you back in control of your own body and movement. Learn to incorporate these movements into your daily life and eliminate chronic muscle pain, improve self-awareness, mobility and physical comfort for the long term.

The Somatic Movement course is appropriate for all ages and abilities; it teaches you life-long skills to restore fluid, effortless, and joyful movement – wherever you are and whenever you need it.

Home practice, in addition to attending the course, is highly recommended. Handouts will be provided through the course to aid home practice.
